Summary
THE ACTION-PACKED PREQUEL TO PREDATOR: HUNTING GROUNDS
In the aftermath of the events of Predator 2, US Marine Scott Devlin is assigned to the clean-up operation in Los Angeles. He is soon thrust into a world of secretive government agents, highly-advanced technology, and an unstoppable juggernaut lone agent, Alan "Dutch" Schaefer.
DUTCH IS BACK
As Devlin rises through the ranks, working in elite counter-terrorist units, he gathers evidence, slowly piecing together the shocking truth of what he saw that night. Fighting for freedom from the jungles of South America to the Scottish Highlands, Devlin learns who the real enemy is, and how to fight for survival. He's not the only one fighting back against the Hunters. Dutch has been working in the shadows ever since his first encounter in Central America, gathering knowledge, weapons, and teammates.
Fighting both the Hunters and shadowy government agencies, Dutch and Devlin must team up to take the fight to the aliens - to become the predators.

The intense battles with the Yautja
I loved it. I liked how it carries on from where Predator 2 finished. And that Dutch is back. I loved the whole story and they way its told. the narrator is awesome too, especially the battles with the Yautja he made it feel intense and like i was almost there myself. Scott is a great character with really good development and real feeling of what it's like through his eyes.

Pleasantly Suprised
Having always been a fan of both films; PREDATOR and PREDATOR 2, I thought I'd try one of the Predator novels.
After seeing that this book featured THE Dutch, I jumped at the chance to listen, though I had a small amount of trepidation as to the quality of the story.
I was wrong to be trepidatious.
A genuinely fun story, with excitement, fear and tension excellently narrated and perfectly paced.
A real good surprise. The only jarring issue is the narrators Schwarzenegger impression....its truly awful, but in a B Movie sort of way.

The Predator sequel that should have been.
A time-hopping story set throughout the Predator series that follows the life of Scott Devlin (a badass marine of course) as he slowly gets introduced to the hunters and their history. Battling with the increasing attacks from the hunters, terrorists and getting some extra help from Dutch (yeap that one).
I really enjoyed this book, Scott was a good character who wanted to learn more and be better at his job than just a gun-blazing marine. The fight scenes are well written and really feel like a hunt than just a battle. It links in nicely with the films with nods to other stories as well.
As a book that seems to be just thrown together to promote the new game I really enjoyed it and honestly would have loved to see this as a film than Predator 2.

Greate book 👌
I don't know why this book has so many bad reviews, I thought it was amazing. Really loved to hear what Dutch has been doing. The way they tie in LA and the good old classics are brilliant. And not to mention the way the chapters are with a specific year. It's a really good story.
If you are a Predator fan this book is topp notch 😊 This should actually have been the script for a Predator 3 movie.

Nice linking together of the movies.
Good story with plenty of links to previous movies, could have had a bit more character development but all together enjoyable.

"Suddenly"
Good, unique story that any predator fan will enjoy. Only pet peeve is the over use of "suddenly".
