Summary

Anna Strong seems finally to have achieved the right balance between her vampire and human lives. She’s looking forward to a normal summer with her husband and step son when an old enemy from the past appears - the vampire Chael - and what he reveals changes everything. Great characters

This is the first book in this series that I’ve listened to. I must say it’s a great stand alone, I wish I had listened/read the books before as I really enjoyed the characters but I was not lost in the past books storyline’s. Great performance from both narrators.
