Ronnie and Reg's reign of terror ended on 8th March 1969 when they were sentenced to life with the recommendation that they serve at least 30 years. Ronnie ended his days in Broadmoor - his raging insanity only controlled by massive doses of drugs. Reg served almost three decades in some of Britain's toughest jails before being released on compassionate grounds in August 2000. He died of cancer eight months later.

Decent listen
Decent listen, a lot I didn’t know about the krays story. Towards the end it’s a bit of a plea saying I don’t deserve this, i don’t deserve to be doing a life sentence etc etc. Good listen all round though.

Decent listen.
A good listen but maybe too much on the prison years although this is maybe not discussed as much elsewhere. You are made to feel a lot of sympathy for them and I could never know if this is right. Lots to ponder. Enjoyed it.

Great book
Only those involved know the real truth but great read. Coming from the east end and knowing certain people involved i found it a very interesting book. Trouble is one persons truth is the same as another persons truth.
