Vietnam, 1967—68.
Eighteen-year-old Marine recruit William V. Taylor, Jr. and his brother Marines are assembled into a new reaction force that is immediately tested in the fire of a bloody conflict known as Operation Beaver Cage. Amazing story
I have read many personal accounts from the Vietnam war but this has been the most harrowing account yet. How this marine survived is nothing short of a miracle. It is well narrated.

brilliant listen
Well worth the credit. The combination of first hand account and narration made it very realistic to actually being there. Great book.

An Infantryman's Vietnam War
I've listened and read quite a few Vietnam war memoirs now and this ranks right up there.
It's brutal, relentless and sad.
If you want to know what it was like on the ground for a young soldier then this book is for you.

Amazing
After listening to a lot books on Vietnam this he definitely got it be rated as one of the best.
I would highly recommend this audio book.
