Summary

Suppose you could ask God the most puzzling questions about existence, and God would provide clear, understandable answers? It happened to Neale Donald Walsch.

Conversations with God is Neale Donald Walsch's account of his direct conversations with God, beginning in 1992 while Walsch was immersed in a period of deep depression. He composed a letter to God in which he vented his frustrations, and much to his surprise, even shock, God answered him.

Focusing on the universal truths that influence all life, Conversations with God offers a picture of the could be better. Conversations with God challenges us to push past the imagined boundaries of what we believe ourselves capable and look instead to all that we can attain as co-creators with God.

Critic reviews

"Conversations with God contains a wisdom I believe we all have inside us but don't stop to listen to. Neale Walsch stopped, listened, and transcribed that word." (Dr. Bernie Siegel, author of Love, Medicine, and Miracles)

Truly life changing

Very engaging from start to finish. Lots of questions I have always had were answered. Feel very inspired and comforted by this. Looking forward to listening to the other books. I will be recommending to others.

It resonated with me, with Truth, Love and Light.

I now listened to both I & II of this incredible trilogy, (III next in my wishlist), I will simply say that it is superbly narrated by two talented and caring narrators (of both sexes) voicing God, but it is also expressing beautiful words of peace, reflection, love and wisdom about humanity, God and us as individuals. Why we are here etc.

So much makes perfect sense now, really. Truths so simple it hurts to think how misinterpreted God has been for so long,
It resonated deeply with me, at last. None of this 'my religion is better than yours' business which has always put me off believing any of them, because when I was growing up, it always seem to come from the wrong place, not the heart but the Ego of men: strict, judgemental, unforgiving and fearful.

This book is the opposite.

I was an atheist all my life, but there was always one man whose words resonated with me whenever I heard them spoken through Eckart Tolle's spiritual teachings, it was Jesus' words. Something about his ways resonated with me because I knew in my heart they are true.
Now this book. Striking the same chords as Jesus's words, of Love, Humanity, Light, Forgiveness and Oneness.
Thank you to all involved in the making of the audio versions. It is a wonderful gift.

Wonderfully Written

I inhaled this book in two days. I absolutely loved the way it spoke about faith and challenged concepts and practices of religion.

New reality check of life

Have you ever thought why some of your religious scriptures do not make sense or you have translated to mean something differently. You are living life according to these barre ways; some make sense or you go along as its "Written" in the holy book published by and translated by some or many humans. Makes you think again in a way that makes clear sense now in this age. What a reality check... you will see and live and see life differently.

Could Not Put It Down...

The most gripping book I've read/listened to. Conversations With God has got to be the most important book written in a long long long time.

Many of the truths within these 'pages' I learned from a religion I once belonged to. Back then I knew in my heart that I was learning the truth, because I could feel it in my soul.

When I listened to this book containing the identical truth I almost fell on the floor! I listened to it in one sitting because I could not turn it off.

I am most grateful to Neale Donald Walsch for sharing his conversations with God. Most grateful❤

Powerful messages

The most enlightening book I have ever read. Everything that has influenced us is questioned. From day one we have it all wrong.

Very interesting and enlightening

What made the experience of listening to Conversations with God: An Uncommon Dialogue, Book 1 the most enjoyable?

The narrative of how this book came about, the inner scepticism which was overcome and the common sense to how God and the universe works made this most enjoyeable.

What did you like best about this story?

It's realness.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

In order take on board all the ideas in this book I needed to split the listening into chapters and relisten to some of them.

Any additional comments?

Go for this book and don't bother about Vol. 2 it's basically the same as this book but shorter.
