As an astrophysicist, this audiobook is worrying to me

The author doesn’t appear to be knowledgeable on this topic and even uses words such as “apparently” before discussing known scientific facts. A couple of facts are incorrect, such as that NASA demoted Pluto rather than the IAU. Lots of time (considering the length of this book) is spent discussing flat Earthers and moon landing skeptics without discussing the damaging consequences of these groups or of giving them a platform. The author even claims that the moon landing will always have “two sides to the story”, suggesting that the author (and therefore the listeners) should believe the skeptics. There’s clear evidence that the Earth is not flat, and that the moon landing did happen. This is not the scientific book it claims to be.

Any science mentioned here is very surface level and therefore this aspect of the book (which one might assume to be the point of the book) is only going to be of interest to those with no knowledge of astronomy, just starting out their journey. Although this combined with my above comments does worry me.

Sounded interesting but a bit too basic

The book sounded interesting but I think it was a bit too basic, though maybe that's good for complete beginners. It might just be the narrator but I found it a bit patronising. However I did learn that in the time of the dinosaurs, there were giant mushrooms instead of trees...
