Mythologies

Any additional comments?

Greek Mythology is always fascinating. when I was watching movies, I happen to see many Greek mythological characters being used in modern day movies. thought myself, this is interesting. first thing I did was to get this book. I realized my decision was very correct. I enjoyed thoroughly reading this book. you will get to know ancient Greek culture. how they think and how they ruled, you will get to know heroes like Heracles and Perseus and also about how gods have been dealt. all the stories described in this book are completely with respect to Greek mythology. many stories explained here are still being enjoyed by human kind. you will find spirit of love, nature, of war and of peace. get your copy asap and i am sure you will enjoy it.

I Love To Read About Myths

Any additional comments?

Norse myth is ancient and by far the most interesting. I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to learn about who the Norse gods are and why early Norse people believed the way they did. It is good for a novice that is just beginning to learn about this culture. I suggest this book to all who want to immerse themselves in Norse mythology, good reference.

I Love Greek Mythology

Any additional comments?

Greek Mythology will always have a special part in my heart. I love reading about the Gods and Goddesses. Even in my teens I find topic really interesting. I must say I love Martin Philips' books. I've downloaded his other Greek mythology book and I have to say this one is superb because it contains three stories, the Greek Mythology, the Egyptian Mythology and lastly the Norse Mythology.

Impressive

Any additional comments?

This is an excellent guide on Norse, Greek, and Egyptian Mythology, offers a survey of the Mythology of Greece, Egypt and the Norse. Unlike the Norse Mythology volume, which I very much enjoyed, this book offers a survey of the Mythology and offers notes on the historical and political influences of these mythological traditions and subsequent traditions; such as the transition from the Greek pantheon to the Roman Pantheon.
