------------
Flowers have always made Fearne smile. She treasures the memories of her beloved grandmother's floristry and helping her to arrange beautiful blooms that brought such joy to their recipients.
But ever since a family tragedy a year ago, Fearne has been searching for her own happiness. When a chance discovery inspires her to start a wishlist, it seems that Fearne might just have found her answer...
As she follows her dreams of working as a florist, is Fearne ready to take the risk and step into the unknown? And how might stranger Sam, with his startling blue eyes, figure in her plans? Will love finally be top of the list?

Absolutely brilliant
Well done Kathy, another wonderful read.
So lovely to be back in the village of Barnaby, and catch up with characters from previous books.
Now I’m going to have a long wait for your next novel.
I do hope it’s based around Barnaby.
Thank you for a pure escapism.
Also well done to the narrative as always superbly read by Coleen Prendergast.

different
from a seemly simple start the story wove its magic to complete understanding of the relationships of the characters without the normal simplistic ending.

A very ‘happy’ read!
A lovely, light and thoroughly enjoyable audible book. Thumbs up for the experience made all the better by the author’s plot and the animated narrator. It has left me with the ‘feel good factor’ I’m always looking for!

Fab story as ever from Cathy. Narrator ok.
Wonderful story as ever from Cathy Bramley featuring her trademark simple lives and complicated relationships. Loved the setting, she’s obviously done a lot of research. Really good book for somebody to read or gift, if they are suffering bereavement as there is a well handled side-theme.
Not sure why this narrator keeps being chosen for story set in Derbyshire as she has a slight Brummie accent. Therefore so do most of the characters. Some dialogue is great, but sometimes dialogue section sounds no different from the narrative. At worst, this narrator has a frustrating intonation that sounds like someone plodding downstairs, losing emphasis at the end of sentences making it hard to listen to in the car. Even when characters are excited, some of the dialogue comes across as humdrum. Misplaced emphasis on words in sentences is frequent, even , for instance, putting the emphasis on ‘new’ in New Zealand. She is adequate at best, I’m sure she’s a very nice person but it’s very frustrating to listen to these little idiosyncrasies as it takes me out of the story. Would love to hear a different narrator on future Cathy Bramley audiobooks.

lovely easy listen.
lovely story to listen to. I was invested in the story and loved the mention of Gina and the nursery as that intertwined a story from another book by the same author.
I also really like this narrator. shes got a lovely easy voice to listen to and a good range of accents and sounds so each character she says is easy to differentiate.
a lovely easy feel good book x
