Summary

Things are about to go from bad to wolf in the howlingly entertaining third book of the Wingfeather Saga, narrated by the author.

Janner, Tink and Leeli Igiby, the Lost Jewels of Anniera, are hiding from Gnag the Nameless in the Green Hollows, one of the few places in the land of Aerwiar not overrun by the Fangs of Dang. But there's a big problem. Janner's little brother - heir to the throne of Anniera - has grown a tail. And gray fur. Not to mention two pointed ears and long, dangerous fangs. To the suspicious folk of the Green Hollows, he looks like a monster.

But Janner knows better. His brother isn't as scary as he looks. He's perfectly harmless. Isn't he?

so good

I am 57 and I loved all the books so far. Book 3 was easier listening but full of suspense half way through. It is full of wisdom. I want to love like the wingfeathers, be as brave and courageous and trust in the Maker, as they do. I can't wait for book 4

Genuinely, utterly brilliant. Read 1&2 first.

My husband and I have been savouring these stories in the series and utterly loved this one. Technically a children's story but honestly up there with Narnia and we didn't see the plot twists coming. We laughed, we cried and feel more human, having engaged in this fabulous story. Highest recommendation - and what beautiful and excellent narration.
