Great Festive Stories
Great selection of festive stories told by characters from the Majestic Cove series of books. These stories give more insight into some of the secondary characters in the books as they narrate the stories. Well written and well narrated.

Christmas Desserts and Devious Deeds
We get inside Melody’s partner Lisa’s head in this book and see how sometimes, good deeds really do lint go unpunished. I liked this book and the quick getaway it gave me.
Christmas Cookies, Cravings and a Curious Case
Melody is working hard right before Christmas and this case definitely brings out the Christmas cheer. It is always nice to listen to Melody and how she always tries to see the positive side of things even though being a PI shows that their definitely is times that it is impossible to find.
Christmas Chocolate, Caution and Crazy Consequences
Detective Scott! If you have ever wondered what a day in the life of Detective Scott then you are in luck! This book was so fun waiting for the foot to drop to to speak and see what kind of calls Scott can find himself being called to. Such a fun listen.

I loved this book. Great series. I highly recommend this book.

Three Christmas crackers
This is a book collection containing three stories to get you in the holiday mood. The books are sold separately so make sure you haven't already got them them sit back and enjoy. The three books follow on from each other and follow a different character in each story.
Book one Christmas cookies, cravings and a furious case.
There is a nice twist in this book. Melody is hired to follow a cheating husband who is apparently staying late at work but his wife doesn't think so. Can Melody get the goods on him before Christmas or is she boomed to spend the holiday season on steak outs. Cheating husband case never turn out happy, just what she wants to get in the holiday spirit and to spread cheer.
Book two Christmas chocolate, caution and crazy consequences
This is a quick easy listen, with no violence or dead bodies. We follow along with Scott a detective for the police department who goes about his day under a cloud of danger. It is a short listen as he wraps up his many and different cases quickly leaving you wondering if his life really is in danger and from whom. Scott is the boyfriend of one of the main characters from one of the authors other series, so a number of places and characters that you already know put in an appearance. I would say it is a nice quick listen to get you in the holiday spirit but with danger lurking around the corner that is not the case.
Book three Christmas desserts and devious deeds. This one was my favourite.
This a fun quick listen, the only reason it gets a four star is because it is so short, I like my books a bit longer but it is great if you have only a short amount of listening time. Otherwise the story is good and contains a nice twist in the plot that you don't see coming. I have listened to a few book by this author, so it was nice for the main character to be Melodys business partner, as I don't know much about her. This does not mean that you have to have read or listened to any of the other books to enjoy this one. A nice way to spread the cheer, well sort of. Lisa is struggling with being alone with Christmas fast approaching. Everywhere she looks couples are enjoying the festivities and spreading the cheer, even on tv. So rather than sit at home and eat a tv dinner while channel hopping she decides to spend the night out on the town. That is until she witnesses something, could coming to the aid of another person put her life on the line or will she find the Christmas cheer she so desperately wants.
The author used the same narrator through out the collection and although it worked well for two of the books I did think she would have done better going with a male narrator for book two and that was only because the main character is a male.
