The multi-faceted concept of 'loyalty'
An amazing storytline that grips you until the end because it is so true to life and highlights how life can go awry and how this has an impact on one's future👏 The concept of loyalty in this storyline was sad, heart wrenching and beautiful. I have read a couple of Martina Cole's books before and they were excellent. I love reading a book but listening to this audio book was a wonderful experience as it has been written and narrated sooo well ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Gripping
Had me from the beginning. Ended with me in tears. Hard listen sometimes with what children have to go through, but a tale of what having that one special person in your life can do to make the sun shine in all the unforgivable ways they are treated.

Gripped
Fantastic story from start to finish. As always some tough story lines at times hard to read/listen to. This is what makes the book and any other Martina Cole book so fantastic as the stories get your imagination going, and you are able to feel the ups and downs with the characters.

Martina Cole at her finest
First time using audible for a fiction based book and I am now trying to work out why. Throughly enjoyed the book and the narrator really brought the book to life. The storyline was gripping with some colourful language, so don’t listen around small ears.
