Summary
"If you judge people, you have no time to love them.” (Mother Teresa)
"Where do I begin to tell the story of how great a love can be, the sweet love story that is older than the sea." These opening lyrics from the "Theme from Love Story" have been stuck and swirling in my head for over 30 years. This little book lightly explores seven aspects of love: its definitions, expressions, self-love, love of mankind, love of country, love that surpasses understanding, and reminds us that love never ends. Join in on a contemplative journey through the most important commodity on Earth: love.
Ironically, recent efforts intensely professing that people must love and accept one another equally only seem to have increased the level of animosity, not love, in today’s society. I believe love among mankind is out there, but the more we are told that we do not love one another the more the world believes it and fails to see all the goodness that is going around. We are all playing on the same team of humanity...we can all win with love.
