Summary

A new threat arrives from the rim of the galaxy. From the colorless depths of space, unknown invaders strike worlds across the Frontier Zone.

Rigel is a thousand lightyears farther from the Core Worlds than Earth, so they suffer the first attacks. The mood at Central is jubilant. Our greatest rival is falling—now is the time to strike while they’re weak!

Legion Varus is deployed to Jungle World, a vital planet deep in Rigellian territory. Our foes, fighting on two fronts, are driven back with ease. But one man questions the wisdom of this move. Should Earth expand with greed, aiding new monsters from the Galactic Rim? That lone voice of reason comes from James McGill.

Find out what happens next in Jungle World, the thrilling 19th book of the Undying Mercenaries series. With millions of copies sold, USA Today bestselling author B. V. Larson is the king of modern military science fiction.

Story is progressing well

I really enjoy James McGill's brand of laid back, this book keeps that going, I love his back and forth with Galina Turov and this has left me waiting for book 20 to see where this is going. Another thing I appreciate, B.V Larson churns these books out relatively quickly and its not normally too long to wait for the next one.

Good continuation of the story

The narrator is amazing. I really enjoy his style.

The story was ramping up and now it felt a little flat with the punchline being really obvious for a long time which makes the story a bit stale. I am deep in it so I will get the next one when it comes out but if the story stays as it might be the camel that breaks my back.

I really like the characters and hope it will get better in the next book.

Yet another nice episode..

I know why I keep returning to this series, not for the complexity nor the imense storytelling, but the simplicity and predictability, been following for 18 books so.. guess im innit for the long run.

Will probably listen to 19 more books.

Its good stuff.

Fast paced and engaging, as usual

The only thing that would make this series even better would be longer books! They’re over too fast! Can’t recommend enough
