Summary
Andy och Harriet ska åka på jaktritt med sina ponnyer Brandysnap och Celandine. Spänningen är på topp, och de busiga ponnyerna märker av den uppsluppna stämningen. Andy och Harriet är ovänner som vanligt, men irriterande nog vill deras ponnyer bara springa sida vid sida, och jakten blir outhärdligt jobbig för flickorna som tävlar om att ha bästa placeringen i gruppen när de dundrar fram över fälten. När gruppen av ryttare rider in i en skog förlorar flickorna kontakten med resten av jakten. De hör jakthornet ljuda på långt håll, och inser att de nog missat årets bästa jaktritt. Den äventyrliga ritt som Andy och Harriet ger sig in på för att hitta resten av gruppen blir dock en som de sent ska glömma. Diana Pullein-Thompson (1925-2015) var en brittisk författare som skrev cirka 30 böcker under sin livstid, främst hästböcker riktade till barn och ungdomar. Hennes systrar Christine och Josephine var också framstående författare.
