Summary

Humoristický román s detektivní zápletkou je u nás Westlakeovým nejznámějším a nejslavnějším dílem. Harold Albert Chester Künde, hlavní postava románu, je dvaatřicetiletý svobodný muž, který v osmi letech dospěl k závěru, že jeho příjmení je kanadský žertík, a tak od té doby sám kanadské žertíky provádí. Jeden z nich ho bohužel přivede až do vězení. Jeho předsevzetí skončit se svým koníčkem mu ovšem nevyjde. Dostane se totiž do party zkušených kriminálníků, a aby se zachránil před dlouholetým vězením, je nucen ve své „profesi“ recesisty pokračovat.

Humoristický román s detektivní zápletkou

"Ale člověk se taky pořád nevydrží třást kvůli nějakým těžkostem, zvlášť když aspoň na chvilku mají události hladší průběh. Na všechny své starosti jsem dokonale zapomněl, když jsem čtyři hodiny nato vstoupil do Mariannina bytu, pak do její postele a posléze do ní, přesně v tomto pořádku. Kam se v tu chvíli mé trable poděly!"

Audible more books from Donald E. Westlake, especially like to see title called Two Much! (Rošády), 1975.

Also any book welcomed from a such fabulous narrator Kamil Halbich, well performed, enjoyed very much!
