Educational Intermediate French stories
I think we can all agree getting the hang of a second language is often very challenging, especially when the learner does not have reliable material to practice with. However, this audiobook provides a more challenging approach in areas for intermediate French learners. Intermediate to me means the learner understands basic grammar rules along with common words and phrases. There's no shortage of new vocabulary, and a very wonderful experience with several interesting short stories. If you're looking for a great way to learn more French during your free time, this is it. The methods in my opinion are quite effective. I can't stress enough how wonderful the narrator is! This is certainly not his first time creating an audiobook.

Intermediate French done right
As humans we are surrounded by stories. Think about it, marketing and advertisements all tell some sort of story because it's effective. Our brains are wired to remember stories, which is why learning French with this audiobook is so awesome. I have picked up more French than I realized simply listening on my commute. What makes stories even more effective is a great storyteller and this narrator executes perfectly! Simply a great way to refresh and pick up new French along the way. I find it's a very productive way to get some learning in and a good use of my time. Download the the companion document, it does help too.

Great for long drives
The stories were more than entertaining! I love how they range from life lessons to even outer space. Nothing is worse than trying to learn a new language with boring material. The vocabulary section was helpful especially when referencing the PDF companion document. The narrator carefully reads all of the not-so-obvious words from the story in the order which they appear in French then in English. I did listened to it on 1.5x speed and skipped directly to words I didn't understand in context, then went back to the story to listen to it in context again. Great stuff

Merci! Great job Touri
I was genuinely surprised by the amount I learned from passively listening to these French stories. I think a main component that helped me was the narrator. He has a charming, very playful and clear French pronunciation. It's obvious he's a professional. Bravo! I'm looking forward to more French learning tools from Touri Language Learning. Audiobooks are my top choice for consuming learning materials because I can keep going back and back to re-listen to the stories at my own pace with out the extra pressure or frustration in a typical classroom.. As you progress through the book you'll find more complex sentence structures which I think gave me the extra push I was looking for to become fluent in French. Merci!

10 Beautiful French Short Stories
This audiobook is the opposite of boring. An array of stories that encompass a variety of different tenses and vocabulary to boost your French skills. There's a full vocabulary section at the end of each story, summaries both in French and English as well as 5 comprehension questions. It's challenging enough learning complex French conjugations, but these stories make it easy to learn and are certainly not overwhelming. If you think about it, fluency is all about the amount of phrases you know and this book has tons of them! I Highly recommended you give this audiobook an opportunity to take your French to the next level. I'm sure you, just like me are bored of traditional learning materials, and this provides an excellent alternative way to learn French. I stumbled across this audiobook and was delightfully happy with the purchase.

Very poor pronunciation
If you want to learn real french this book is definitely a bad example. It sounds like french read in english. I spent a couple of years learning french myself. I was in France twice for a longer time and this book guarantees you will get scared and very surprised hearing the real french conversation.
