Summary

Mary Alice Nolan, code-named "Malice", is a Hunter: genetically modified and rigorously trained to track and kill supranormals ("supras") such as werewolves, vampires, and demons. What a pleasant surprise
I haven't expected the turn this book took (and I haven't read the synopsis, just continued to listen after the first book) but I enjoyed it very much. A refreshing take on fantasy, intertwining urban with traditional fantasy.

Addictive listen
I finished both books within 2 days. Left me hungry for more! Not every day one finds books that are a combo of childish imagination and adults creativity, and a wlw story on top of that! Just what I needed.

Stepping into a different world
The first book is the story of the hidden side of this world. This novel takes us to another dimension. Excellent characters and action.

Struggled to finish
I finished it because I wanted to know what happens in the end but it was hard. I usually love fantasy, but it was just too long. When we hadn't known Mal was under a charm I was honestly so pissed off with her. It felt like I'd been in Fairy land with them for all those months and I just wanted it to end. I'm going to get book 3 just to finish the series but won't be listening to this one again unfortunately.
