this book changed my life

By far the best book I have ever read, I cannot recommend highly enough. this will certainly remain in my library so that I can re-listen to at a later date.
employing the tactics discussed in this book has helped me to become better at negotiating, changed my perspective how i interact both professionally and with personal relationships, and has improved my already strong marriage to another level.
truly amazing how a book written so long ago is still so relevant. Thank you Dale Carnegie and family.

Enlightening

This book really opens your eyes to a whole new perspective and how you approach different situations / speak with people. The use of real-world examples and past experiences makes it easy to follow along, even in the current era.

Useful tips

As is said in the preface this book is still useful today. If you are socially adept then it just puts into words what you already know but it is good to have concrete principles that you can follow to improve human relations

so this book is full of gems, often repeated. however I find myself compelled to listen and take notes. I'll be listening to it again and take more detailed notes to apply to my daily life. it was about time I heard this book.

full of surprises

I expected a manual type approach but never the less the anecdotal story's mentioned bring the rules to follow alive and relatable, Well worth the time. Full of common sense.

Life changing advices

The content of this book is accurate for everyone, for relationships with everyone. Not only in business settings. The many examples can become a little tiring and old (hence one star removed) but the main points are solid advice that made me change perception of how I approach my relationships with people. And it offers a way to be more happy and relaxed towards interacting other people. I recommend this book for everyone.

I wish I had read this book earlier

Everyone should read this book especially young teenagers. As mentioned at the beginning some of the writing style is a bit dated but the principle message is so relevant for everyone. I listened to each chapter twice. Robert’s narration really helped me enjoy the book.
I would love if this was a book in all classrooms as young adults start to look for support in navigating their goals. I’m already putting this into practice.
I’m pretty sure I’ll be ready this book on an annual basis.

Great influential book

Found this easier to listen too than actually reading the book. Found it very helpful when re listening to each chapter.

An important lifelong book

After listening to this book, I’ll be buying a physical copy that I can easily refer to. The lessons may seem obvious but based on how they have been explained by the author, it has emphasised the importance of several behavioural factors. I realised that there are some things that I already do but I can definitely improve and be a better person for the people I meet. I’m a work-in-progress but I’m grateful that this book has highlighted some critical improvements that I need.
