Summary
Picking up a book, writing a book, losing fat, getting accepted into your dream college, and so on, are all certain short-term or long-term goals that different individuals have and plan towards everyday of their lives. People want different things, and sometimes, we just have to find ways to fuel ourselves and drive ourselves toward achieving those set dreams and aspirations.
People want to do different things, break different barriers, scale through hurdles, set records, and overall, there is always a little goal, change, or difference in their own small way. While others find what can seem to be their driving force, others tend to lose focus and abandon theirs on the way. Being of the opinion that you have to find the motivation to take action is rather awkward. I once spoke with a therapist who was of the opinion that you needed to get into action to find motivation.
Finding something to motivate you to consistently pursue your dreams fiercely could be very difficult and sometimes brain-draining. However, finding what motivates you is necessary to actually achieve those dreams.
In this audiobook, the author has been able to highlight some basic ways to actually find you pursuing those goals without looking back or caring whose ox is gored. I have heard different people over the years, and different people always get motivated by different things. While some may just need music to complete a short task, others might find small tasks easy, and therefore they might prefer to get it all done fast and move onto the next thing. However, there are others that need to be cheered on and continually encouraged for them to accomplish some feats.
Whichever way or category you belong, the inference of everything is that something or someone has to appeal to your inner mind and spirit to "ginger" you into taking action towards completing a task or achieving a set goal. I hope this audiobook sheds light on certain ways we can find our own secret motivation to spring into action and do that which we have always been too scared or too lazy to do.
