"Just what I needed to start the year off right!"
22 years ago I listened to
the Psychology of Achievement and learned some very valuable lessons to which I attribute the success I've had so far in my career and personal life. I found the New Psychology of Achievement when I was trying to decide whether to get a Master's degree or float through the next 10 years to retirement with my current level of responsibility and pay. I wasn't sure if I had time to go to graduate school while working and taking care of my family. Now I know I can and should do what it takes to realize my full potential and earning power. I'll probably listen to the book at least every few months to keep myself at this super high level of motivation. Thank you, Brian Tracy!
I'm a big fan of Brian Tracy, and if this was the first time I listened to him I'd easily give it 5 starts. And if you've never listened to him before, you'll find a goldmine in this book, or any one of his other books.
But there's really no need to buy more than one, because he really just says the same things in a different way. He prides himself on writing 4 books a year, but really he's just re-writing 1 book over and over again.
In a book on success he might say that successful people do "X" (fill in the blank). Then in a book on goals he'll say that you need to set a goal to accomplish "X". Then in a book on self discipline he'll say that you need to discipline yourself to do "X"
Same message, slightly different delivery, so 3 stars because I've heard this before and wasted my money, but 5 stars for his material as a whole.
"Timeless classic with a new twist!"
You just can't go wrong with Brian Tracy. In this modern version of a timeless classic he is brilliant. Everything you need to sell new seats of success in your life.
"Relevant and practical insights"
Brian Tracy's work is relevant and applicable despite the fact that it was first written many years ago. The principles transcend time. I enjoyed the listen and will be going on to his Action Strategies for Personal Achievement as I enjoy more of God's abundant life as is open to us by grace.
"Life changing as always"
The reason why not 5 stars overall is that many information is repetition of others Brian's books. And not much new info. But worth reading absolutely.
And if it your first book definitely must read.
"The right knowledge for success"
I really enjoyed this book. I found is extremely important to my knowledge. I like my self I like my self I love Brian tracy. You have changed my life :).
