How to Live a Good Life is a practical and provocative modern-day manual for a life well-lived. Drawn from the intersection of science, spirituality, and Jonathan Fields' years-long quest to learn at the feet of world-renowned masters from nearly every tradition, this book offers a simple, yet stunningly powerful tool for life.
It then walks you through 30 days of fun, yet powerful mini-challenges, designed to rekindle deep, loving, and compassionate relationships; cultivate vitality, radiance, and graceful ease; and leave you feeling lit up by the way you contribute to the world. No need for blind faith or surrender of intelligence; everything you'll discover is immediately actionable and subject to validation through your own experience.
How to Live a Good Life is not just a book to be listened to; it's a path to possibility, to be walked, then lived.

"The Leatherman multi-tool of books"
loved just how personal the author is and how calming he is to listen to
"Actionable guide to Living a Good Life NOW"
I love that this book can be devoured and savored. It's written to give you thirty days of small steps that will move you forward but I couldn't help myself and listened to the entire book as quickly as possible and then could go back and take the actionable steps.
I loved hearing the author's voice reading the passages. Hearing Jonathan's inflections and pacing really helped me feel like I was in the room with him having a conversation.
I've seen Jonathan live and he doesn't disappoint. Hearing him bring this book to life is amazing.
I'm definitely going to make the three buckets part of my daily life. I've already increased my meditation practice.
one of the best ones I've heard. definitely a 11 out of 10.
Jonathan Fields narration made the experience so beautiful. It's complicated to live a good life but Fields' approach to life has convinced me that not only is a good life achievable through intentional living but it is our birthright.
I really enjoyed reading about the connection bucket because connection is one of my top values. And my favourite part was all the daily exploration exercises/activities
"A lovely book, beautifully read by the author"
I love listening to books read by their authors - there is something both special and comforting in knowing the points made and emphases given are right where the author intends them to be. Fields is a great and skilled interviewer, and so reads his book with easy confidence.
Too many to list - it bears going slowly so you get the full impact of all the "aha!" moments
I felt like I was in a one-on-one conversation (as opposed to being lectured to!)
A mindfulness to the buckets concept that Fields lays out in the book. It's the kind of thing that once you understand it, you'll never ignore it again.
"Comfort, Community & Motivation to Live Happy"
I found great comfort listening to this book post US election 2016. Jonathan Fields masterfully crafts a framework for evaluating and improving our own life experience. Filling our buckets of 1) Vitality, 2) Connection and 3) Contribution is ever evolving and takes self-loving effort but the result allows us to radiate our unique beautiful light for others. It's attractive and contagious. Our world needs to see you shine on this magnificent journey.
