Anita Moorjani had lymphoma, which had spread throughout her body, and her organs were beginning to shut down. As she slipped into a coma, doctors were resigned to the fact that she was in her last hours of life. Yet Anita experienced what has been termed a near-death experience (NDE), and within 24 hours of coming out of the coma, she had a newfound knowing about her own life. Subsequently, her body healed very rapidly, and within weeks doctors found no traces of cancer.

The author/narrator literally speaks in capital letters throughout the meditation. It almost sounds as if she is speaking extremely loudly and clearly to make herself heard above the background music. On the whole, a much less pleasant experience to a guided meditation.
Unsure how to rate the story as I have not managed finishing it yet
As the title says, this is a deep meditation- excellent results, I felt peaceful yet invigorated. It is easy to follow and Anita's diction is clear although sometimes I found the pitch and tonality a little challenging. Would recommend it.
"Especially good after reading her book"
After being diagnosed with cancer it was suggested I read ""Dying To Be Me" by this author. I was already freaked out by the diagnosis and the title sounded awful. Well, I postponed it for a week or so then delved into it. Wonderful story on Audible and listened while doing crossword puzzles (ADD thing). Then I saw this meditation by her so tried it out. For me, i find it exhilarating (more so than some others). It's my personal preference. Five stars.
"Good Affirmations, not Meditation"
This book is not at all a meditative guide, but if you like to listen to positive affirmations then it could be a great addition to your library.Other commenters have noted how Ms. Moorjani's speech comes across as jarring, and it does, if you are trying to go within to meditate. This is very much a 1990's style reading of positive affirmations that fall in line with Moorjani's personal philosophy gleaned from her near death experience.
The book is less than an hour long. You'll always skip to Chaper 2, which is where all the "meditative words" are spoken. I will often set it at a very low volume and let it play while I drift off to sleep-- not actively listening. I find that I wake in the morning with an unexpected sense of well being.
I worry a little bit that Hay House tries to squeeze every dollar it can from its stable of New Age writers. Hope they don't do this to Anita Moorjani. I find her work to be refreshing and believable.
"Not the right voice for a relaxing experience, unfortunately."
The content is fine, most of these relaxation/healing CDs are about the same.. But it's all in the voice. Not soothing, not calming, and not relaxing. Sorry.
"Relaxing & Healing Meditation"
This meditation is tremendously helpful. I plan on using it daily; to relax my mind, and to heal my body.
Yes. Very relaxing it is. The narrator is excellent and the energy in her voice is very good along with the clarity of voice
I have listened to it several times a week for several months and still love it. My favorite of all my guided meditations. It is not a smooth, polished meditation. The recording is a real person with a genuine quality about her, which I prefer over polished.

I love Anita's bookes but I am already in a state of stress and the tone of her voice here enhances my stress. Can this be re-recorded.

Very hypnotic meditation.each meditation time seems to bring greater and greater results.!
Highly recommend for those serious about meditation.
