Everything about Fiona is forbidden. She's a party girl with dark desires. She's beautiful, irresponsible, and irresistible. She's my patient. I'm her therapist. I'm past wanting her. Past possessing her. Past bedding her or protecting her. I'm willing to be self-destructive, negligent, brave, audacious, and stronger than I ever believed possible. She's blunt force trauma to the heart. And she calls another man Master.

OMG what an amazing story loved it, it was intense, sad and sometimes frustrating but well worth it. Great storyline and awesome narrators. Would highly recommend this author
"Awful book unless you like torture"
I made it through about 4 hours before I gave it up! Rough sex, drugs, sad story. It might get better in the end and this is a good writer but the subject matter was awful! Depressing mental institution and forced sex!
"Not one of my favorites"
Did not realize what the subject matter of the plot was and the struggle that lay ahead for the main character so at times it was a little difficult to listen to. At least at the end of the struggles the ending and the epilogue were happy. Probably won't be listening to it again though. Saved by two of my favorite narrators!
"Love CD Reiss, just Don't love this book."
I wanted to like this book... but it just wasn't my personal taste. It's depressing. The love scenes are abusive and dark. Even Sebastian York's seductive voice couldn't make this book sexy. It sat in my library for at least a month. The beginning was boring and the middle is just messed up. I kept trying to go back to it at different time's to see if it got more interesting. At this point I'm just going to throw in the towel. I'm bummed out and my ears are bleeding.
"Hard to get into this one"
I likely won’t read anything from this author again, this book took so long to get into… it moved so slow and took me a long time to even enjoy the character. I was just mainly confused and frustrated in the beginning trying to sort her thoughts and even to hear them. Everything just seemed like a blur until almost the end.
I just didn’t really enjoy the story line or the characters, aside from the doctor.
"Kind of a let down "
Overall, I enjoyed this novel. If I was the author, some things would be different. The budding relationship developed very slow; which is fine, except, it went from 0 to Mach 5 in two chapters. There story should have been as long and complete as Jonathan and Monica's. We did not get to experience any of the joy of their love. The story goes from them getting together to 16 years later from one chapter to the next. This story also did not stir the emotions that J and M's story eithet; not even close. The ending left me with more questions than answers. I really do love this author but, honestly, this was 1/2 the novel as it could have been. :(
"Not for the faint of heart"
This story is great and crazy and hot and sad all rolled into one. I wanted to hate and hug these characters. Definitely worth a read if you are looking for a good read that is more than sex and fun.
Sebastian York is my favorite narrator ever
No i needed the breaks from the emotional rollercoaster of her life
I don't know anyone who would like this. If I do, I don't know how I would bring it up.
I did listen to the whole thing, but it was tough. The subject matter is just beyond my comfort zone. If the point is for the reader to become desensitized to the sex and violence, but it was actually quite gross.
"Great performance, ok story"
I would have quit listening a few times during this story if it weren't for Shayna and Sebastion.
"This is a hideous book"
The first chapter. Never got past that point. It's unreadable and awful.
Not this author.
Never really got to the SY part, the first chapter was so hideous. Pity he's on this because he's good.
Revulsion. Buyer's regret.
Didn't get far enough in to the book to make constructive criticism. The first chapter was vile.
"Epic and complex"
Continue learning about this family or start anew. This is a HUGE trip of a book. Graphic, disturbing and beautiful. A real journey of characters and less fiction than not
