Summary

Gabe lives a double life. As Gabriel Henson, he works multiple jobs to support his remorseless alcoholic mother. As Tony Ryder, he does Internet porn for extra cash. When he encounters a scared young man freaking out in a nightclub, Gabe is compelled to reach out. Ever since then the memory of that young man has haunted him.

Tristan Lavelle lives his life 30 minutes at a time. After a traumatic brain injury three years ago, he gets through his days recording his life in spiral notebooks and sticky note reminders. A month after Tristan's embarrassingly public meltdown, another chance meeting with Gabe sparks a warm, emotionally fulfilling email relationship. Both men crave more but fear of the next step stands between them - until Tristan gets the opportunity to take part in a clinical trial that could improve his memory.

listen at 1.25 speed

Narrator was extremely slow. when I sped it up to 1.25 he sounded much better. suspect the book was put out incorrectly at a slow speed and this isn't the narrator's usual talking speed.

liked the book though. it was sweet and not too challenging.

Second part in series, with aome technical issues.

It is a very unusual how Tristan and Gabe meet and despite Tristan his severe memory problems due to a gay bashing a few years ago. They have an click, evwn tough Tristan has his difficultiea. I appreciate that he is the one that initiate steps to further their blossoming relationship.
My one nagging thing throughout the whole book was, why does Gabe feel reaponsible for his mums debts and how the heck can she buy thibgs when her cards are not accesible. 📚 4-
Naration:
I think something went wrong with the upload or mastering of the audiobook. It needs to liaten3d to at least at 1,2 and there are several ' changes' in how the 'bqckvround' sounds. Deapite all the technical issues the telling itself is okay. 🎧 4-

Narration way too slow

Listen on at least 1.25x speed to keep your sanity. Story was a lovely sequel to book one.
