"Thanks for a recap of the whole first book. Not."
If I could have learned something truly new about the story. It's the same story told from Helena's point of view. Redundant.
No. The first book was a light and fun read. But nothing deep enough to expect a companion book.
I was hoping to learn new stuff about the story and was disappointed.
Going to ask for my money back on this one.
"it explained a lot"
it was good mainly because I love to listen to johanna parker
it was kind of the same book just from a different persons eyes
sure there cute
"NOT AS GOOD"
I won't recommend this to a friend. I feel that this story was misrepresented in what it had to offer. There was no secret behind the scenes of book one, therefore, this book does not provide any new information.
Absolutely, in fact I hope to get to read all the books in the series. I just don't feel that this book was needed.
I wouldn't spend a credit for this book and wish I had not. But live and learn.
"Kinda neat after having read the first two..."
One of my favorite narrators, first of all. Ms. Parker is amazing with her range of voices for her characters (female and make) and really enhances the audiobook experience!
This story was short & cute, but didn't really add much to the overall storyline. I've read & enjoyed the first two books in this series so far & it was kinda cool hearing Helena's perspective on events that have occurred, but I really got nothing substantial out of doing so. Meh. Still cute & a well written series overall :)
Thank you for stopping by!
"this is just a recap of the previous books"
not worth the money. Save your money for the other books. Sad i wasted the credit.
"why did he do it"
I enjoyed the story and the characters but it never explained why it was done?
"A hauntingly good read of a ghostly diary."
Yes, as it gave some details that hadn't been revealed before. A second listen would help with future parts of the series.
An enjoyable humorous series.
No. A silly plot & lack of character development resulted in a tedious read. Narrator's voice was grating & southern accent exaggerated. Memorable moment- none.
"Don't use a credit."
If you listen to Trouble in Mudbug you have the whole story and this is just repeating the story.
The narrator is fine and enjoyable.
The whole book or story.
This is a repeat of what is in the first book.
I wouldn't have written it.
The series is great, the diaries book is a waste because it doesn't provide any details to enhance the story line.
