From NY Times and USA Today best-selling author J. Daniels.
Wedding hookups never amount to anything. Those who partake in this wicked little activity know the rules. Get in. Get laid. Get out. There's no expectation of a relationship. It is what it is.
Dylan Sparks knows the rules. She's familiar with the protocol. And she engages in the best sex of her life with a complete stranger at her ex-boyfriend's wedding. Reese Carroll doesn't care about the rules. He wants more than just one night with Dylan. And Dylan finds him too addicting to pass up.
Sweet Addiction is the story of one woman's struggle to keep things casual and one man's desire to never let her go.
Warning: This audiobook is recommended for listeners over the age of 18 due to strong language and explicit sexual content.

"VERY SWEET & VERY ADDICTIVE TOO"
Yes Dylan and Joey, her Gay best friend, had been invited to her ex boyfriend's wedding but she attended because she had baked the wedding cake and also because her other best friend Jules is the Wedding Planner who is also a guest. But when she accidentally lands in the lap of THE most handsome sexy Adonis she's ever seen her focus is switched to him and only him..... what cake, whose wedding, who is he and how soon could they have sex.
When Dylan is introduced to Reese the sparks and sexual chemistry between them are way off the charts then steamy looks progress to a passionate hot encounter in the men's restroom but afterwards things get awkward when a flip comment is misunderstood and, when his marital status comes into question, Dylan flips out. So, when she gets the chance to confront the cheating scumbag the next day, she can't wait to reacquaint their bodies..... but this time it's her hand hitting his face. And this, believe it or not, starts off a 'no strings sex only' relationship that, according to Dylan, can include any surface except a bed or sleepovers (and so they're quite inventive). But feelings, misunderstandings, miscommunications and an overheard conversation leads to angst, tears, heartache, broken hearts and broken dreams. It was meant to be sex only - no strings.... but it never ever was.
Dylan and Reese are both very likeable characters, Reese is a sexy, sweet and thoughtful perfect Hero, Dylan and her two best friends are all very close, they're conversations are very quick witted and fun and they both play a strong part in the story. There's humor, witty banter, lots of hot sexcapades and a plot that flowed along nicely. Told from Dylan's POV by Piper Goodeve who effortlessly brings plot, storyline and characters to life.
Worth a credit? This listen was so so much more than I was expecting..... very romantic, sweet, hot, funny, entertaining and with a 'just one more chapter' storyline that was perfectly narrated.... so creditworthy? Oh boy is it ever...... (that's as YES by the way).
"3.5 Cute Fun Story"
My thoughts about Sweet Addiction. This was such a cute story, it had a lot of the qualities I really love in a book but something held me back from really loving it and I'm not quite sure I can even pinpoint exactly what it was. I'm thinking 3.5-4 stars.
Dylan (h) is looking for a hook up just one night at a wedding that just so happens to be her exes. Wedding hook ups never amount to anything...right?
Reese (H) knows the rules knows the game and is no stranger to one night stands, but he wants more than one night with Dylan.
Dylan doesn't want more, but it was the best sex she's ever had, so maybe a casual relationship? A no strings attached, monogamous but casual relationship...that should work. No way she will let it turn to anything more and especially with Reese's reputation, it would for sure turn into heartbreak.
As I'm writing this I think this is why I just couldn't give it a full 5 star rating. I may have liked the secondary characters more than the main characters. I really did like Reese and Dylan for the most part but the slapping got way out of control for me. The initial smack because of the marriage ordeal I got it, it didn't bother me at all, but then all the other times just seemed a little over the top. And I also couldn't get the fact that the "F word" and the word "Hot" is used so many times it started to annoy me. Having said that I really enjoyed the book, I got a few good laughs and it was quite steamy too. I will definitely listen to the next book.
Piper Goodeve was good with the delivery of the story
"Great story fell into my lap"
I loved this story despite the fact that the bakery played only a small part in it. The author has some writing tics that the grammarian in me flagged as careless, potentially confusing writing frowned upon by English teachers everywhere. The narrator did a fine job.
Very enjoyable story. Loved the couple and all the banter with each other and their crazy friends. About to start the next installment immediately.
"Needs More Story"
it was okay but needs more story. line .the sex scenes were good but at a point it became just sex to much..that I began to fast forward past parts. there was no real relationship build up..the heroin was ok she overreacted far too much to situations.. I wouldn't recommend that anyone pay full price for it.. hopefully the next book gives more of a storyline and character development. still not sure if I'm buying it or not..still thinking on it.
"A great light hearted romance."
Okay, I am a bit slack at writing reviews for audio books as they can take me a week to get through and I don't take any notes.
However, what I can say is that was a really enjoyable read. Reece was a really sweet guy who got more than he bargained for when he hooked up with Dylan at a wedding one night. Mr 'no-strings sex' is seriously reconsidering that mantra he has been living by.
Dylan is all for casual with Reece until it becomes more than that but she doesn't want to put her heart on the line if he doesn't feel the same way.
A great light hearted romance.
So sweet - bakery gang meets hot guys. All friends. What's the chances? But, it works. The author makes the story and characters interesting and it's an easy listen. Enjoy!
"Loved the Characters"
The narration was perfect. I love every single character, their fun, loving, funny and loyal. Spencer was perfect, once he he loved that was it. The part about pictures Dylan received was bad and I wished he been more forth coming, the secretary part was low.
loved it...dislike lengthy misunderstandings..worth the purchase I listen to every so often
"Deliciously Sweet and Sexy"
This was my first audiobook and it will hold a special place in my heart. It is one I still go back and listen to at times.
The end when they get back together at the wedding is a scene I always go back and listen to. I love happy endings!
Dylan is great but I loved Joey!
Not extreme but it was a funny lighthearted book, it definitely had me laughing at times!
A great series to own, you will be adding Reese Carroll to your book boyfriend list!
"This story is ok but seems a little amateur"
I feel like this is sort of a spin off of fifty shades which is written much better. This story is somewhat poorly written but it is ok.
