Summary

What is it about men anyway? Bad cars, bad jobs, even bad teeth - nothing convinces them that they can't snare a size-two babe with a D-cup chest. And after way too many Internet dates with men named "luvstick" and "bigdaddy182", Lucy Rothschild should know.

But sitting across from her now is "hardluvnman", and he seems different - sensitive, honest, and hot! He says he's a plumber while Lucy claims she's a nurse. She's really a mystery writer, dating online while researching her next book. Hey, everyone lies a little, don't they?

But Quinn is really an undercover cop hunting down a serial killer, and he sees Lucy as his top suspect. While he could really go for this smart, sexy woman with the killer bod - if that's the only thing "killer" about her - he knows he needs to wine and dine her and discover the truth. Hey, he realizes the dating scene can be deadly - but this is ridiculous!

Unexpectedly engaging

A wonderful story, good plot, engaging characters, credible scenarios and well worth considering the rest of the series.
Rachel Gibson did a great job on all of the characters

Something different.

This is the first Rachel Gibson book I have come across and was entertained by the 'who done it' element. I will look out for more of her writings and hope that I'm not disappointed.

unsure...

The title didn't particularly appeal to me but I thought I would give it a go. I ended up looking really enjoying the story and all of the characters. I will definitely look for more books by this author

Fun and sexy romcom murder mystery

This was a fun, steamy murder mystery romcom. She is a writer that meets men online and go out for coffee with them in order to research personalities of awful men to kill in her novels. He is a detective, undercover, meeting women online trying to find a woman serial killer. She and her 4 writers friends posse have funny moments. Overall it was a good story and I didn’t have a clue who was the serial killer till the end. All my guesses were wrong.
Narration was good and there was some weird pronunciation of some words.

Great! Fab narrator too.

I surprised myself by really enjoying this book as its not my usual type but really liked it. It had a good storyline, mystery and hot romance that wasn't too cheesy. The narrator was fantastic, she really pulled off the male characters voice to perfection. I would definitely look for more by the author and narrator.
