About this listen

When the tide of war flows, many are caught in its wake. Who will gain entry to the city, and who will be forced to remain outside the walls?

This is a short fantasy tale of love, loyalty, and courage in war.

When I read the eBook version, I said of this book that, "This book is a beautifully written and very enjoyable read." I still feel that way about the story itself. Add to that the wonderful narration, and you have an excellent listening experience.

Great story, made even better by great narration

Gosh, this really was one of the best thought provoking stories that I have read or listened to.
Just goes to show what generosity, compassion and unselfishness is all about.
The characters are all strong and though its a very short story, it has loads of punch. I was saddened, disgusted, amazed and made happy again in under an hour of the telling of this tale which is brought alive by the narration of the very talented Melanie Fraser.
I was supplied with the audiobook version by the narrator and this is my unbiased review.

Bravo!
