the narration was so annoying - why was she told to narrate it that way - her dialogues of the characters seemed ok but the story telling was so spoilt that I spent more time on being annoyed and trying to work out why she was telling it that way than listening to the actual story
I have and I didn't have a problem with the others
it destroyed the story
couldn't tell you

First Thoughts when Finished: I love the boys from Black Knights Inc. and Hell for Leather by Julie Ann Walker was another great entry in the series.
Story Thoughts: I have to admit I had 2 moments in this story that really stood out (and yes they both are the same exact scene): First, kudos to Julie for making the "getting smexy" time at least at a time when they weren't in a battle, they were sort of alone (at least in the room)and nothing was pressing. Seriously I about cheered! Second, I had to laugh at that same scene because it was supposed to be scratching Delilah's itch and he is all like "do this for me". I was like dude this is about her! Other than that, I really enjoyed both the romance and the action in Hell for Leather. I thought it was timely and really kept me on the edge. Even the bit of a darker turn was perfect for the story. The end scene was great because I would have screamed if she had not called him on his ass for being a knucklehead.
Character Thoughts: I loved Delilah and Mac! I thought their love story was pretty darn awesome and yeah to Delilah for being the gal to knock him on his ass. I admit that Mac has been one of my favorite characters in this series because he is a TX boy, so his love interest needed to be pretty darn awesome. I wasn't disappointed.
Written by: Julie Ann Walker / Narrated by: Angela Dawe
So Angela "Freaking" Dawe is now doing the Black Knights series and now it is on my must get on audiobook list. To say I am thrilled she is doing the narration is a bit of an understatement. I thought she did an excellent job on the narration.
Final Thoughts: When is the next one?
"Humor, Listen for It"
Just a maybe on J.A.W. if other reviewers like it. Angela D. an absolutely YES. I went looking for more of her reads and found this one. A.D. can only do so much with an author's work! This was at the right price, under $10. It had a good outline and some creative dialogue, but author was a bit too repetitive in trying to capture some emotion. Author should have stuck to the mystery, humor and sexy heroes.
Well, I cautioned myself on buying the next book coming out. If I buy it, it is only because A.D. is reading it
when the B.K. guys talk about sharing care for baby Black Knight
this is a series and A.D. should continue to read them as they come out. I hope the author has a better editor as this had so much more potential.
Love to hear Zellners story
While I love this series and this story was great, the narration was irritating. The readers voice was nasal and her attempt at accents was poor.
"Narrator is awful!"
Every time the narrator says a sentence it sould likes she is asking a question, very annoying!
When I don't have to hear the person's voice.
NO! the question mark expressed by the tone of her voice at the end of each sentence drives me crazy! I am thinking about not even finishing this book, just buying it to read it!
none, book is good, I listened to the book before this one.
I kow that the narrator is prob. a very nice person but the implied ? or lilt at the end of each sentence is pushing me over the edge.
