The first installment in the New York Times best-selling Quantum trilogy by author Marie Force, writing as M.S. Force.
He's a sexual dominant. She's sworn off sex. There's no way they can make a relationship work - or can they?
Natalie Bryant has worked for years to reinvent herself into the woman she is today - a happy teacher fresh out of college and enjoying her first winter in New York City with her faithful dog, Fluff. Natalie isn't expecting her life to change completely during a routine stroll through Greenwich Village on a blustery January day. But when Fluff breaks loose and charges into a park, Natalie gives chase and crashes into her destiny. Only after Fluff bites and draws blood from the man who accidentally knocked Natalie down does she realize Fluff has bitten the biggest movie star in the world.
He has no business being enthralled by the gorgeous, young, innocent teacher....
Natalie captivates Flynn Godfrey the moment their eyes meet. And the only thing he knows for certain is if he lets Natalie get away, he'll regret it for the rest of his life. But can he turn his back on the lifestyle that has defined him? And most of all, can he keep his truth hidden from her long enough to have forever with her?
From Hollywood to Las Vegas, Flynn and Natalie's whirlwind love affair has it all - romance, passion, steamy hot sex, relentless paparazzi, and a murder that could be their undoing. Flynn is a dirty-talking hero who puts it all on the line for the women he loves, who leaves no desire unfulfilled, who will do anything it takes to protect what's his....

"WHAT A DELICIOUS, HOT, TASTY MORSEL THIS IS"
I haven't listened to any of this Author's books by her other name of Marie Force but after this captivating, addictive and unstoppable listen, which lost me a night's sleep, I'll be checking them out. The Publisher's Summary pretty much sums up the storyline and all you can do is hold on and listen to a beautiful story that has a very very sexually damaged Natalie literally falling at the feet of Flynn who's a handsome, successful movie star with the title of Sexiest Man Alive who sees the innocence and normality in Natalie and, like a refreshing change of pace, her rarity calls to him. But, as they fall head over heels, Flynn's plagued with doubts about his secret BDSM life choice and teeters back and forth about which love he should or could give up.
It's a totally unrealistic Cinderella type whirlwind romance and I loved every minute of it, couldn't stop listening as his patience, thoughtfulness and sexual pull eventually had Natalie (and me) panting for more more more. And, as the dreaded cliffhanger exploded and chaos took the place where happiness once lived, I know the wait to hear answers and revelations will be blissfully short.... just one week, then one week for the finale.... genius!
Dual POV's, no problems with the dual narrators who did a great job in portraying a skittish Schoolteacher with secrets and a haunting past and an Actor who's humbled and is trying to follow his heart rather than his libido.
Worth a credit? If you're a romance lover who can stray from the path of realism and you're not shocked at hot sex and would enjoy Flynn's erotic BDSM dreams where he's introducing Natalie to his preferred sexual lifestyle then you'll be rewarded with a trilogy that's going to be filled with drama, angst, passion, heartache, romance, the promise of hot sex and who knows what else. Yes this is creditworthy and I've already preordered the other two books in this trilogy while they're on sale at under $10 each IMO that's a bargain not to be missed.
"Flynn & Natalie"
Awesome story line! Love! Love! Love the characters! The narrators were great as well. Like both of them. The front cover of Flynn isn't quite as handsome as I picture him from reading the authors description, but still handsome.
"As always M.S. Force ROCKS!!"
Absolutely love this story-so far! April 21st is too far away! Lol
I love the female narrator of this series but the male narrator sounds too young. His voice doesn't resonate dominance to me. (I liked the females version of flynns voice better) I'll continue to listen though I can get past it in order to get this story whenever and wherever I want!
Audible books are so convenient!
"Awesome Series!!! I want MORE Quantum"
WOW! This was on heck of a trilogy!!! Simply awesome!!
My review for the entire series...
Book 1: I have to admit after reading all the reviews I was excited for this listen... BUT, I was not expecting to completely be wrapped up in Natalie and Flynn the way I was... I got pissed at Flynn when Nate did, I got confused at Nate when Flynn did... I was up and down just like the characters...but the ending... C'mon!!!
Book 2: Ok... since I waited till all three books were out before I even started listening, I didn't feel the weeklong Cliffhanger effects of book 1; however, I was pleasantly surprised how quickly this book moved along... It jumped right into the thick of the story... which was great...
Book 3: AWESOME!!! Finally Flynn has to let Nate know about his true nature... and I loved every single minute of it... Great BDSM action... Now that I think back, Flynn would let his dommy side emerge every now and then, but in this book he finally can be him self... BUT "The words, I need to hear the words" literally drove me batty!!! LOL... but this series is hands down int he realm of 50 shades, This Man, All or Nothing, Bare to You and YES... Knight and Play... Not like any of these series as it is a rip off, but most definitely will be in my Kindle Library right next to some of the great Romances, Book Boyfriends of all times!!!
I want to hear more from Quantum so bad... I have to have Abby and Hayden's story... It is a must!!!
Narration was well... I hate... HATE dual narration unless it is done like the female read all female parts and male read all male parts, simultaneously!!!! If not.. well then I pretty much wont like it... but this was ok... both narrators were superb... but eh! Just get one narrator who can do male and female voices, or do Dual Narration the right way!! But this is my thoughts... Lol..:)
Great Buy, Credit or Sale... It's a must if you are a vivid romance listener!!
After buying and reading 3 awful books before this trilogy I am SO please to say that I finally found another awesome read!!! Yay! Now on to the 2nd book. Can't wait to dive into it. 👌🏼📖
"I'm with Mammy!"
Shoot, just yesterday I was walking my dog and it got away from me and ran over and bit the "most famous movie star in the world" who just happened to be across the street and then he asked me out to dinner and during dinner he asked me to fly to LA with him and be his date to the Golden Globe awards! Oh ya, and he gave me a key to his apartment so I could come over anytime and take a bath in his tub. And I said, sure! Love to! But just so you know, I won't sleep with you unless you marry me...but I will let you take me to The Dungeon and tie me up and spank me!
I like to escape in books like everyone else but come on.... I can't figure out what I am missing because this book got a lot of great reviews and I seem to be the only one who thinks it is lame. Even the single star reviews weren't bad reviews. I don't get it! The dialogue is over the top predictable, the plot is tired and predictable and it's all pretty corny. Ridiculous. The chick is a ding dong ..."I want to go home" "Can we go by my roommate's work and show her that I am with you" The guy is pretty full of himself. "I'm a movie star". "I have so much money". "My parents are movie stars". He says "movie star" a bazillion times. Who says movie star anymore, anyway? And lets not forget "my car costs 1.5 million". Gosh, everything they say and do! Ugh! Total cringe-- you know that feeling you get when the characters spew corny dialogue? I felt like I should keep listening to see what I was missing but I had to stop because my ears were bleeding.
Narrators--sub par. Sorry :(
I definitely don't get the 5 starts AT ALL. "It ain't fittin'. It jes' ain't fittin'. " ...says Mammy! (Gone With the Wind)
I bought this on audio book and I was a little afraid it may be to close to 50 shades. It absolutely is its own story that kept me mesmerized as well as hot and bothered. I can't wait to start book 2.
"5 stars all the way"
That was one of the most intense, stressful, hot, sinful, sweet, lovable 9 hours of my Audible life.
I don't do synopsis when I review, I only write how the books made me feel and how the performance was. I can honestly say that this book is worth a credit, the money, whatever you have to do to start listening now. And the performance aspect was stellar. These narrators were the perfect choice.
Yes, it is over the top and completely unrealistic. You won't walk away thinking this could happen in real life, but when an author can take a completely unrealistic situation and still make you believe, you've got something special. Kudos!
"Such An Incredible Story!!!"
The narration is phenomenal, the story even better. Now, I'm hooked and want the rest of the series!!! The narrators on this were superb and really added to the tone of the story.
Really looking forward to listening to the rest of the series.
"Ms. Force does it again!"
Wow, just, wow. Loved this book from start to finishing. Riveting story, unforgettable character, and I loved the narration. Both narrators are fantastic. I can't wait to listen to the next. In fact, I've already started it!
