Ephraim & Maliah
A story of second chance love, this was engaging and incredibly erotic. Ephraim and Maliah were childhood sweethearts, firsts to each other and now years later after the unexplained fleeing of Maliah are finding their way back to each other. Well, maybe that is not exactly true. The two have always been in tune with each other, but Ephraim has been watching and waiting for the chance to take her back. And take her back he does. It is full of pushing and pulling by Lee-Lee(Maliah), she is not wanting to give in to him, but her feelings are to strong not to keep going back. Avant also weaves in a thread of suspense, but I did find at time that the steamy scenes tended to overpower the story. Ephraim is more than an alpha, he is a man on a mission, extremely focused and will stop at nothing to get what he wants. His dominant nature follows him into the bdsm lifestyle and he has met his match with his submissive Lee-Lee. She is a sub by nature, loves the lifestyle, but she definitely has a defiant streak. It's a match made in heaven.
The narrator of this dark romance is Carter Donovan. It's my first listen by him, and while he gives a good performance, he is not the fit I would expect for Ephraim. Ephraim needs a deep, dark voice, and Carter was not giving that to me. I enjoyed his voice for Lee-Lee, but would have preferred a darker narrator for Ephraim.

Perfect
This one gives what it promises it pushed boundaries and is hot. Is this something I would listen to again? Yes it is that well done. The characters give the story such fantastic depth and they are so very fitting for one another. The narration just took the story to the next level which was such an enjoyable treat

Excellent storyline
Well there’s a bit of everything in this book. Great concept for this storyline. Good strong characters that are likeable. Fearless writing from Amarie.

Ephraim and Maliah
This BDSM romance was just what the title states that it was. This was a great alpha male story, with great drama and ruthlessness. Ephraim and Maliah have great chemistry in and out of the bed. A great listen and enjoyable.

exciting
I received this audiobook for free (thank you, Amarie) and didn´t know what to expect, It´s emotional, captivating but I´m not so much a fan of BDSM. Otherwise I´m looking forward to hearing or reading more from this author
