Summary
Eight years ago, I gave Grayson Price a piece of my heart.
To him, I was the strange girl whose mom had just abandoned her.
To me, he was a savior, an anchor, someone who stood beside me on that beach.
The next time I saw him, I was 20, and he was 36.
He didn't remember me. And when he flirted...I didn't tell him.
By the time he found out, it was too late. We tried to deny our desire, but our attraction was too enticing.
Eight years ago, I gave Grayson Price a piece of my heart.
Too bad he’s my dad’s best friend.

Perfect forbidden romance
Absolutely loved Grayson and River so much! Grayson was the perfect older, grumpy, disillusioned guy who needed the youth and fun River could give him. Their journey together was everything, and I although I don’t always like age gap romances this didn’t feel like a big leap as River was early twenties and not totally inexperienced. Grayson was respectful but also passionately attracted to her, it felt like they were meant for each other! SebYo and Virginia were brilliant as narrators and I can’t imagine any other voices telling this story, they embodied the characters perfectly.

Love a slow burn!
Ava Harrison, what have you done to me? Including so many of my favorite subgenres in one book and then have it narrated by an amazing team!!!! This book has so much in it. First a taboo age difference, then his best friend's daughter. Add in a slow burn, and a build of passion that just set the book on fire and I just couldn't stop listening! 8 years have gone by since River has seen her crush, Grayson. He was the one person who gave her solace when her mother dropped her on her father's doorstep. Now grown up, and seeing him again, her feelings haven't changed, and the attraction between the two is impossible to ignore. And their story begins. Now I can tell you, there is some meat to this book. It's not all fluff and romance. Ava masterfully weaves a thread in this book, giving us a real look at River, her past, why she is who she is and how things in her life were manipulated. It's emotional, and gives a real understanding to all the characters. And I don't want to miss saying how much I loved Gray's brother Jackson. He gave that humor in times of trouble, but is steadfast in his loyalty. I love Ava's style of writing, always giving me a little of everything I need to enjoy a story.
The narration is impeccable. Sebastian York is perfect as the broody, Grayson. He gives him all the characteristics that make us frustrated with him just with his voice, but can't help but fall in love with him. Virginia Rose as River...the best casting ever! She is River, giving her that free spirit with the underlying hurt and unending amount of love. It's a fantastic casting and the performance amazing.

Captivating!
Taboo isn't exactly my favorite trope; in fact, I usually skip it; BUT when Ava Harrison writes one and gets Sebastian York to narrate, I sit up and pay attention!
River Reid fell in love with her Dad's best friend, Grayson Price, 12 years ago after he saved her life. Grayson carries the weight of the world in his shoulders as he struggles to come to terms with the changes in his life. Not having seen each other for years, Grayson doesn't recognize River when they see each other again and he finds himself instantly attracted to her- but Greyson tries his best to keep River at arm's length after finding out who she is. Will they be able to make things work despite their age gap and her Dad being who he is in their lives?
I like that there wasn't too much drama in this story and that Grayson and River complement each other and balance each other out. Grayson was often grumpy and tried his best to be unfeeling, while Ava was trying her best to be optimistic despite of what she's been through in her relatively short life. The biggest obstacle in this story isn't the fact that River is Grayson's best friend's daughter- it's their own personal issues. The story was well written and captivating. I'm looking forward to Jaxson's story!
The audiobook was brilliantly narrated by Sebastian York and Virginia Rose. They sounded great together and brought the story to life.
Entice is a straight-forward, slow-burn, contemporary romance done in dual narrative. No cheating, no cliffhangers, and ended with a HEA.
I received this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

An Enticing Listen
Ava Harrison is the goddess of angsty, sexy, all the feels, believable reads and this book is all of those things and more. I love an age gap romance and not only is Entice an age gap, but also a dad’s best friend story. Hello! Yes, please! I loved the touch of forbidden with this one. Her words draw me in and leave me reeling. Every. Darn. Time. They’re beautiful and angsty, and real - there are always real emotions and fears in her books that keep me turning the page…or avoiding that pause button. Full transparency, I did not feed my family today, they fended for themselves, so I could stay immersed in Ava’s world. Entice is another spectacular addition to her catalogue of books.
Grayson Price is a broody, unfeeling, and well, quite simply, grumpy bugger…who also happens to be sexy as hell. He’s dealt with a lot of loss that has shaped his opinions and actions. He thinks he’s protecting himself and others by not opening up, so even though he is grumpy, his reasons are valid and it makes him all the more lovable. River hasn’t had the easiest childhood, she experienced a very erratic upbringing before landing on her father’s doorstep at age twelve…the same day she met and became infatuated with, Grayson Price. The events in her past have left her scarred and insecure. Her fears of abandonment are very real and affect the way she deals with things. Despite that, she has a friendly and happy personality.
Sometimes you meet characters, and you just fall in love with them, that happened with Grayson and River. They are so different that they were the perfect complement to each other. Grayson was broody and unfeeling, whereas River was joyful and felt too much at times, they balanced each other out. The sexual tension between this couple is off the charts, I adored the will they, won’t they element, even though we knew they would, we were just waiting on Grayson to make that move, and once he does, it’s like a dam breaks. And it is perfection. River was definitely the girl to break Grayson out of his walled defence, and it was a joy to listen to his walls cracking as he let her in and opened himself up to love.
I loved the rekindled friendship between Grayson and Tyler, which is what made this book have that forbidden feel. I adored that River found herself a friend in Sadie and I’d love to see her have a story. There is a little undercurrent of mystery to the story, and I liked that it wasn’t a big part of it, but enough to quip interest and have River be the one to want to figure it all out. A big part of the story is River’s mom, and why she keeps abandoning her, I thought that was written to perfection, and I loved watching all those pieces fall into place. Gray’s interactions with his family were fabulous, I always love seeing sibling connections. I cannot wait for Jax’s book.
Sebastian York was fantastic as Grayson Price, it was brilliant casting. He plays the grumpy and lovable bachelor so fantastically. It’s no secret that my favourite SebYo performance was in Absolution, but I think this one is next in line. Virginia Rose has such a lovely tone, and I thought she played the young and enticing River Reed wonderfully, I will say that if I hadn’t known River’s age, I’d have thought she was a little older but other than that, her performance was amazing. The emotional moments were performed spectacularly…I shed a few tears, not going to lie. I thought their voices complemented each other really well, and it was an enjoyable listen. I can rarely spend a whole day listening to a book these days, but I did, and it was a joy. The production was wonderful, with no noticeable issues.

Meh
The main female was so whiny and I got bored.... Grayson was good. I might finish the story when I’m less easily irritated
I do love Seb York though

Loved every second!
Can you imagine how awkward it would be to get involved with your best friend's son or daughter? Even more awkward for there to be a 15 year age gap?! Well, this happens to Grayson Price. The last time Grayson saw his best friend's daughter, River Reed, she was a mere 12 years old. The next time he sees her she's no longer a child - she's 20, and he doesn't even realise who she is. It’s different for River though, she knows it’s Grayson. She's never forgotten their first encounter years ago – he saved her.
I've read the book, and listened to the audiobook. Sebastian York’s portrayal of Grayson is second to none – and Virginia Rose as River was absolutely perfect – they both gave me goosebumps!
Entice is a must read I can't recommend highly enough. Ava Harrison can do no wrong! 5 stars.

Age gap
This audiobook had the perfect plot, I absolutely love a taboo age gab. Unfortunately this book was lacking in sexyness, like a looot. It could have been a holy hotness book but it was unfortunately just a light romance

loved it
I don't listen to many audiobooks because I'm never sure about the voice that narrates it. However I have to say I loved these voices and the story itself. I wasn't sure how I would find it given that I haven't read the book but I was hooked. I absolutely loved it. I have already listened a few times.

Sometimes you need to be burnt to feel
Gosh! This book left me with all the happy feelings and a huge smile. This book was fantastic, and I enjoyed it from beginning to end. The writing was really great, the connection and chemistry between River and Grayson just perfect, all their encounters and scenes together always felt so much more than just an "affair".
As for the narration. Ugh, forgive me, I know I am late to the party lol, but it's the first time listening to Virginia Rose and I adored her narration, it's really perfect, from her tone, inflection, emotions portrayed, she's wonderful! Sebastian York was perfect as always, his voice portrayed Greyson perfectly.
