Summary

Maminka dvanáctiletého Emila Tischbeina pracuje jako kadeřnice, protože po smrti manžela na tom nejsou finančně nejlíp. Aby si chlapec alespoň trošku užil prázdniny, pozvou ho jeho teta Marta s babičkou na návštěvu k nim do Berlína. Maminka mu na cestu dá 140 marek, z nichž má babičce odevzdat 120 na přilepšenou. Je to pro oba hodně peněz a malý cestovatel si je proto schová do sáčka, aby je neztratil. Jenže ve vlaku usne, a když se probudí, zjistí, že jsou peníze pryč. Co si počne? Má jít na policii? Ne! Rozhodne se pachatele vypátrat na vlastní pěst. Tím začíná dramatická honička za zlodějem, která by nikdy nemohla skončit úspěšně, kdyby byl Emil sám. On si ale v neznámém velkoměstě najde kamaráda a pak už se pronásledování stane záležitostí celé klukovské party, kde každý má svůj úkol.

Pekný jazyk, vtipné i poučné dialógy, spád deja, odvaha a česť hlavných hrdinov, zmysel pre spravodlivosť a rodinu, to sú atribúty, ktoré určite zaujmú (nielen) deti

Knížka trochu připomíná dospělejší verzi "Honzíkovy cesty" s parádně detektivními prvky a pěknou dávkou kuráže, rozhodnosti a asertivity.
