Summary
El protagonista es Mowgli, el niño adoptado por una manada de lobos en la India después de ser atacado por el temible tigre Shere Khan, que se convertirá en su gran enemigo. Pero Mowgli cuenta además con muchos amigos, como el viejo oso pardo Baloo, que le enseña la Ley de la selva, o Bagheera, la astuta pantera negra, que no dudarán en ayudarle cuando se encuentre en peligro. Joseph Rudyard Kipling fue un escritor y poeta británico nacido en 1865 en Bombay. Autor de relatos, cuentos, libros para niños y poesía. Con numerosas adaptaciones cinematográficas, algunas de sus obras más populares son la colección de relatos El libro de la selva (1894), la novela de espionaje Kim (1901) o los poemas "Gunga Din" (1892) y "Si" (1895). Ganador del Premio Nobel de la Literatura en 1907, fue el primer escritor británico en recibir este galardón y el más joven hasta la fecha.
