Summary

Frazer Hines reads his own adaptation of a classic adventure for the Doctor and Jamie.

Young astrophysicist Zoe wishes to join Jamie and the Doctor on their travels. To give her fair warning of the dangers she may face, the Doctor uses a mind projector to share one of their most harrowing adventures…

My favourite Dalek story told in a new way

Honours the original but focuses on the narrative from Jamie’s perspective and emotional progression. We also begin to understand how The Doctor behaves, and exposes the potential ruthlessness and resourcefulness of the character beyond just being an explorer.
