Decent story but annoying narrator
Quite enjoyed the book and the story but the narrator was really annoying so found myself not really liking the main character because of it.

An enjoyable listen
I liked this book and really enjoyed the reader ( I like Lesley Sharp as an actress too and knew it was her straight away) but I felt that the swearing was too excessive for me.

Ridiculously funny and real.
I loved this book. I’m not one for leaving reviews but felt it necessary for this book. I have laughed but the tender moments were emotional. I have been angry and joyful. This book took me on a journey which I hoped wouldn’t end. I’m looking for more titles. This author. Brilliant.

It really is laugh out loud
I wasn’t sure about this to begin with, but once I got to her first date dilemma of to shave or not to shave I was hooked.

NEEDS EDITING TO REMOVE COVID & LOCKDOWN REFERENCES - ADDS NOTHING TO STORY. ‘C’ WORD USE OFFENSIVE.
I really don’t want to be reminded of Covid and lockdown! Audible needs a trigger warning! .Fun book but crude language , especially use of the ‘C’ word. Such a shame as the writing is witty, well researched , sweet and insightful, however, badly let down by obscenities throughout.

An Honest narrative
Loved this refreshingly honest tale. Accepting failure,but being open to change . The characters felt familiar and warm, with twists and turns where you don’t expect them. A little drawn out in some places, but not enough to stop being interested.
