Summary
Ein fünfzigjähriger Major erfährt von seiner Schwester, dass deren Tochter Hilarie in ihn verliebt ist. Der Major fühlt sich hierdurch geschmeichelt und macht daraufhin eine Verjüngungskur. Die beiden Liebenden finden zueinander. Eigentlich hätte der Sohn des Majors, Flavio, das Mädchen heiraten sollen. Flavio hat jedoch ganz andere Ambitionen. So nimmt das Liebeskarussell seinen Lauf. Johann Wolfgang Goethe, geboren am 28. August 1749 in Frankfurt am Main, trat nach einem Jurastudium und in den Regierungsdienst am Hof von Weimar ein. Im Jahr 1773 veröffentlichte er der Werke Götz von Berlichingen und im Jahr 1774 Die Leiden des jungen Werthers. Es folgten weitere Veröffentlichungen, wie Italienische Reise (1816/1817), Wilhelm Meisters Lehrjahre (1798) und Faust (1808). Der große Dichert starb am 22. März 1832 in Weimar.
