Summary
Aus tausenden von Kometen hat die Kraft Orks den Eisplaneten Krypton geformt und er ist ein genaues Spiegelbild der Erde aus Eis. Während das Raumschiff gerade in die große Kometenwolke eindringt, stöbern Jim und Joy in dem unglaublich schnellen Bordcomputer der Stargate herum. So erfahren sie mehr über das Sonnensystem und die große Kometenwolke, die den Abschluß des Sonnensystems bildet und aus schätzungsweise 100 Milliarden Kometen besteht. Da ruft der Professor die Kinder über den Bordlautsprecher zu sich auf die Commanderbrücke. Er hat eine seltsame Entdeckung gemacht. Hier draußen strahlt das schwache Licht einer zweiten Sonne und Gravitationsschwankungen weisen auf die Anwesenheit eines großen Planeten hin. Man hat ihn also gefunden, den Eisplaneten Krypton. Währenddessen bespricht Ork auf Krypton mit Wissenschaftlern sein Vorhaben. Er will in vier Tagen mit der großen Synchronisation beginnen, aber es gibt noch Probleme mit der künstlichen Sonne "Nemesis". Ihr Licht schwankt zwischen rot und grün und alles mühsam aufgebaute wird immer wieder zerstört. Da melden die Lautsprecher höchste Alarmstufe. Ein unbekanntes Raumschiff nähert sich Krypton.
