Summary
But when the news of Eddie Cochran's death reaches him, Hardy is propelled back into all the things he was trying to escape - and forced to untangle a web of old secrets and raw passions, for the sake of Eddie's pregnant widow, Frannie, and for the others whose lives may still be at risk.

An average thriller
This is a good book without being exceptional. The guilty party became obvious form about one third of the way in. The motive was not, in my opinion, credible.

A great start
A great performance by Mr. David Colacci, laid back and funny in the right places.

Good first book in series
I really liked the book and I think considering it was written in 1988 it has was not to bad in terms of sexism and the likes. Sometimes a bit heavy on the characters feelings, when not with the main protagonists, but all in all a good listen. I am definitely going to buy the next in the series.

Boring & difficult to follow
What disappointed you about Dead Irish?
I found this very difficult to follow. I re-started a couple of times, but it was too boring to get really involved. The narrator was fine.
