The sun has long since gone down

Definitely get book 1 under your belt first. This is not one to follow independently without context.

Barbie's all fired up for some revenge, and with her teammate succubus demon, she might finally get her wish.
Maverick's out here saying he'll do anything to keep Barbie and Torin safe - even if it means cutting deals with some ancient beast. Torin's got his own drama, dealing with his vampires who are way too clingy and their obsession with making Barbie their mate. Once they all hit Italy, Barbie's ready to pull out all the stops for her revenge. But when she suddenly can't call the shots anymore, she's staring down a situation where death might be her only way out.

Narration by Kevin T Collins and Heather Costa was very good.
