Summary

Antiques dealer Lina Townend – bright, sharp, and pretty – is making a name for herself as a restorer, with a national reputation for honesty. So when she spots a dead body in a field, she calls the police – only for it to promptly vanish. And it seems that her luck has entirely deserted her when she’s accused of stealing two Anglo-Saxon rings, and no one seems to believe she’s innocent. So when her love life looks up, Lina’s delighted – and unprepared when things take a frightening turn for the worse…

crime in the world of antiques.

If you could sum up Ring of Guilt in three words, what would they be?

easy listening story.

What other book might you compare Ring of Guilt to, and why?

I like crime stories with different style to them than the ordinary crime novel where a fspecific detective solves the crime and a series is centred round them.
this has a young woman who works in partnership with her friend buying, renovating and selling antiques. her friend griff is not only teaching her about antiques but also long words as her education as a child was very patchy..

Which scene did you most enjoy?

I enjoyed all of the book, there wasn't a stand alone moment that overshadowed the rest.

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

it would be better done as a tv series.

Any additional comments?

the story is told in the first person and although the reader is obviously older than the character she portrays this does not spoil the story in any way whatsoever.
