As Paul's snooping and short-term memory loss get him in trouble with the local police, his new friends and granddaughter Jennifer help him solve an expanding list of crimes. "A lol mystery"
This had so many LOL moments.
No, but it did make me wonder how in the world he could keep digging himself in deeper.
He brought the characters to life.
Would love to have, but it did make a great traveling companion. My husband and I both loved it.
It made my traveling go so much faster.
This reminded me of the movie 50 first dates but set as a murder mystery instead.
It was an engaging story, that had me cracking up throughout. You can't help but to fall in love with these old people. I hope to have as much fun as they do when I get to be there age.
"FUN, INTERESTING, EXCITING"
What a great concept. This book was such a fun read. I couldn't put it away. I listened every chance I got. You will love this quirky take on a senior with memory loss who takes his life in his hands to solve a murder. I loved this book! Enjoy!
There is no other book like this. This story is unique and a fascinating take on Senior sleuthing.
When he would wake up every morning and have to begin figuring out who everyone was all over each day.
I would have listened to it all. It was difficult to put it down. I listened in the car to and from my destinations every day. I couldn't wait to get back to it.
This author knows how to weave a tale. What a concept and to make it work so well.
"Cute--but not my favorite--"
I enjoy light mysteries--and this looked like a fun listen. It was okay, just not my favorite.
The story had a few situations running through it (like the main character who lost his memory every night and had to daily re-learn everything that has been happening) that became kind of tedious. The narration was good, and this may be a good series for some, but not for me.
"Not for me"
I found this story lacking in depth. I never felt connected to the characters and lost interest in the story.
