In The Days of Noah, Book 2: Persecution, a globalist conspiracy transpires by way of a false flag attack against America's energy infrastructure. Noah and Cassandra Parker witness a complete economic meltdown which is intentionally triggered by the event. The assault is blamed on patriots and Christians who are rounded up into detention centers across the country. Noah and his friends must take action to prepare for the meltdown and defend against the totalitarian regime which is gunning for their freedom, and quite possibly, their very lives.

"Appealing Christian survival genre"
I find this series both satisfying and appealing in the genre I crave. The Christian viewpoints and excerpts are properly placed within the story and inspirational, while not suffocating.
Kevin Pearce does an excellent job of conveying the emotions of the characters and bringing the story to life.
"Calling all patriots; read this book!!"
AWESOME! Absolutely awesome story & characters. Great narrator too. Everything you want in an apocalypse type story. Keep them coming Mark Goodwin!!
This book series is very interesting, and talks a lot about conspiracies. definitely tons of information making it a good read.
Book 2 in this series is just as good as the first. It's fiction with a lot of current events woven in to make it seem very real.
Mr. Goodwin continues what I am certain to be a legacy of not too far fetched "fiction". If you like suspense, drama, thriller and dry humor, get this audio book. If you are self sufficient, like to be prepared (for anything) you will all appreciate this book. very well done. As are the other books by Mark Goodwin.
"Another chunk of the book..."
I bought this second (and the 3rd) book at the request of my brother... I found the first book interesting to see an EOTWAWKI scenario playing out through a very radical Christian point of view, almost as if I was reading about another culture.
This segment won't make sense without having read the first. If you weren't sure if you liked the first... I would suggest not going any further... book 2 is a lot like the first and you will be left with a non-ending because this is really one book cut into three chunks for marketing purposes.
Book 3 is my reason to suggest not buying book 2... it includes a LOT of scripture from Revelations, the Pope and the UN taking over America and imprinting citizens with their mark and then of course the "rapture" happening. It was just so over the top... I wish I hadn't wasted my time and money on the earlier books.
I have ranted about inaccurate reviews previously... enough said.
"What a great book"
Mark Goodwin is an amazing author. I really enjoy the details in this book and how is presented in a very realistic manner. can't wait for the next one to come over
"Very engaging and well played out. Can't wait for the next one!"
Much more than entertainment, the series is very poignant at teaching you through the storyline. There are plenty of subtle yet detailed skills / thoughts and it's ideas to ponder.
"Both books are very well done."
Another well writen book by Mr. Goodwin, I enjoyed the first and looked forward to this one and found that it was well worth the wait. You'll enjoy the story and the narration is very well done, I've found Kevin Pierce to be one of my favorite readers. And Mark Goodwin's stories always entertaining without bad language and sexual situations. You're boud to enjoy this.
"this book is a great read"
I've read many books on this topic such as going home and 299 days this book is better
