Doyle always wonderful

Ranks very very high for reading and storyline

Excellent narration undermined by jarring music

I have listened to several French language audio books and many of them had music during chapter transitions which were typically brief and inoffensive and played against the background of the narrator reading the chapter title. In this case the musical interludes are much too long (40 seconds +) and in a number of the chapters the narrative was interrupted at regular intervals by "dramatic" music which was very annoying and ruined the listening experience. It seems like they have added the music to extend the narration and justify the "+ de 11h" claim. If so it was quite needless since the narration is extremely good and I would have been prepared to buy it even if less than 11 hours.
