Summary

I loved this one! Sweet, & sexy, and a wonderful demisexual, best-friends to lovers romance!!
This is a somewhat epic second-chance and sexual awakening story with many years passing between book 1 and book 2 in this series. Ty and Declan are in their mid-20s now and Ty has been in love with/fighting his feelings for Delcan most of his life. While Delcan seems settled in his life but is finding the closet rather suffocating. I liked the connection between Declan and Ty and how they both love each other but can't say, show or act on it. It made for great dialogue and funny moments.
I love Carly's cheeky approaches to something "kinky" and this story is no exception! I loved Ty sexy secret and felt it added some wonderful heat and sexy, teasing moments between these two, while sort of forcing Delcan into action and bridging the gap between their friendship and more!
I love inclusive stories and various representations and I felt this was a beautiful representation of demisexuality, with a Carly sexy twist that just works! I loved it and look forward to more in this series and more cheeky kink from Carly ;)
Bolton does a fantastic job narrating this story. I felt all the emotions from Bolton's narration. I loved it! Bolton and Carly are a dream team!!

sweet emotionally charged best friends to lovers
This is such a sweet and emotionally charged friends to lovers story brought to life by Bolton Hill. I loved the fact that Declan is a demisexual and I thought that that aspect was handled well. The book can be read as a standalone but I read the first book (At Home) and would definitely recommend doing the same. We meet Declan and Ty in that book and I felt that this gave a really nice background to the couple's relationship as teenagers. Also the couple that book 1 is based around are revisited in this book too so I felt like I had more depth to their characters too. Highly recommended

Very hot
Loved this series although I read them in the wrong order it didn’t matter I still enjoyed Declan and Ty’s story. Ty’s sassy and hot and Declan is the hot military man and when the friendship they’ve shared for years goes to more it turns into a beautiful love story which melts your heart all I can say listening to this is wow 🔥

Cutest kink ever
Ty and Declan, these guys may be my favourite couple yet.
Ty is an out and proud, gregarious and fun loving man.
He may be a good citizen and a great veterinarian, but Ty has some secrets.
He has a crush the size of Texas on his best friend Declan. How can he ever
tell him about his feelings, he doesn't want to risk losing his friendship.
After all Dec is a straight man, a sexy hunk of a Navy Seal.
Living together with Dec is getting harder, as he has to hide his feelings and
his love of pretty, sexy lingerie, that he cannot live without.
Declan can't wait to get back from deployment and get home to Ty.
His feelings for Ty run so deep, they have been best buds for most of their lives.
Dec really hopes that he can keep his attraction to Ty under control.
He doesn't want to risk losing his life long friend .
An unannounced entrance in to Ty's bedroom literally brings Dec to his knees.
What he sees turns his head and heart and other parts on it's head.
These two men together are just so sweet and so sexy , l loved every minute
of their story.
Bolton Hill did a great job voicing everyone, he has a great tone to his voice.

The narrator made it less.
The story was compelling enough but the narrator did a poor job. Every sentence had the same tone an rhythm, which distracted a lot. The emotional range was missing, too.
