A compilation of funny, irreverently reverent stories on aligning with the Divine in daily life. For the passionately spiritual and bemusedly skeptical alike.
Adapted from a popular column originally published as "San Francisco's Spiritual Examiner" at examiner.com.
"What if God IS the story? What if the Divine is constantly igniting roadside flares to get our attention? What if there actually IS a Supreme Organizing Principle with a ribald and unbridled sense of humor? And what if we each have this ardent inner suitor who's writing us love letters every day that often go unopened?"
What if indeed? Read on.

Yes, extreme peace. Letting go of all worry, control, fear.
Highly recommend it as a guide to living your life in a whole new way.
Certainly makes you take a step back and think about life.
Has helped me be much more peaceful and accepting about daily trials like being stuck in traffic as well as bigger things...
I thoroughly enjoyed this book - great listen. She connects with you like an old friend - witty and warm.
Look forward to her next audio book.
I loved the way the book consists of lots of super inspiring little stories.
I would have liked a bit more actual guidance, steps maybe?? That's something for the wonderful Tosha to write next maybe?
Warm reading of narrator makes such difference! Book related to writing of Florence Scovel Shinn . So much to learn in life and one must be only grateful for continuous teachers showing up on our path.
"Perfect blend of depth and humor"
I loved this audio book. It really spoke to me. It was full of stories that illustrate how aligning with the divine in every day life can change how life feels every day. The stories were soulful, deep, funny and magical all at the same time. I finished the book today and will start it again tomorrow. There is so much there, I want to hear it again to scoop up more of its gems. I was listening as I drove to work. A bus pulled up along side of me with a huge billboard on the back. It read "Loving Kindness." Just at that moment, Tosha said, "Metta - Loving Kindness." I swear.
"Intuitive and authentic"
If you find that you are a pattern person or constantly think and speak in a metaphoric manner, this book will resonate with you. Every chapter inspired me to trust my intuition more and walk continually in love. I found myself smiling continually and felt the warmth and authenticity of the author. A challenging and truth filled work!
I love the simple approach she has to following the Divine! A great listen for any spiritual seeker...there are no complicated regimens here, just a demonstration of genuine and nearly effortless application of spiritual truth peppered with entertaining and relatable stories.
The soothing voice paired with the content instantly altered my mood after stressful days at the office sitting in rush hour traffic. I released my skeptical, need for scientific evidence and found that life is much easier when you are open to magical possibilities.
"A soothing and simple message about connecting with the Divine"
I enjoyed the author's writing style; I spent several years living errrr growing up in San Francisco, so this really brought me back, but even beyond that, I loved her message. Take the time to connect with Spirit and ask for help. My dog was just kidnapped, so I am truly connecting to the Divine to ask for the safe return of my dog. Funny these curveballs we are thrown in life. It seems everything in my life is a struggle. My mom always told me it would be & guess what she was right. I am reading Tosha's book and books like her's to break this habit of everything being a struggle. The White Flag is raised ...
"Love love love"
A book every person should read no matter who. Got the book now the audio ⭐️
"Intimately told stories that teach deep truth"
Once you settle into the fact that this is not your normal 6 steps to fill in the BLANK, it's quiet a gem. Spiritual truths told in personal stories with a practical outcome. I find myself putting it as I go to sleep. Also strange at first is its not really a pro audiobook production, but you'll get used to it. And it actually is very fitting for the intimate conversation of the book.
I also got the kindle with narration which is good for highlighting some of the major points.
I enjoyed listening to this book while commuting. There are so many transformative points, I often found myself replaying sections. I bought the book so I can jot down notes. I'm going to buy "Change Me Prayers" next. I'm joyfully inspired...
I loved it!!! It came to me at the best possible time, I leaned a great deal. Best audio ever.
"Beautiful, masterful, inspiring, healing book!"
I was absolutely riveted by this book. Filled with stories and insights from Silver's own life and those of many friends and clients, she shows with clarity and elegance the undeniable power of invoking divine order in all areas of one's life. I bookmarked this all over the place, saving clips of prayers and instructions to listen to again. I'll definitely be using the skills and ideas Silver shares so generously in this book. Also, her voice is very soothing and calm. I really enjoyed listening to her read her own work.
