Let's celebrate World Book Day with The Boy Who Could Do What He Liked, written and recorded by the author David Baddiel, especially for World Book Day on March 3rd 2016.
This is the first audiobook to be produced for World Book Day - it's a hugely entertaining and touching story of a boy called Alfie who likes to keep to strict routines and schedules. It's all rules, rules and more rules in Alfie's life.
When a new baby sitter arrives called Mrs Stokes to look after Alfie he begins to realise that rules aren't everything and perhaps the mysterious Mrs Stokes is no ordinary baby sitter!
Includes wonderful music and sound effects - a jam packed listen with plenty of laughs along the way.

Praise for The Parent Agency: "Funny, sometimes moving, always engaging." (Guardian)
"I love this book because it really made me laugh! The best book I've read since I was born!" (Tom, 11, LoveReading4Kids)
"Exciting and funny - I didn't want to put it down!" (Daisy, 10, LoveReading4Kids)
Captivating and exciting; held the attention of my two children, 10 and 8 yrs old....and I, till the very end. Story time is always fun. "It's like a movie inside your head!" said my son and daughter. Thanks David
The story begins a little slowly, but warms up with the introduction of Mrs Stokes. Some very amusing twists. Just wish it would have been a bit longer as the plot idea has more potential.
My son has found another author to love. He now wants me to download more audible books for him (he's 8 nearly 9). This could end up being costly to me as he loves books but struggles with reading as he has dyspraxia.
It is cool I love this audio book too fall asleep too David badiel makes it soooooooooo interesting
Listening on Bluetooth in the car, while doing the various journeys we had to over Christmas, was made easy with this book. The pace was great the concept whacky enough it made us all laugh. Good fun.
A free finds pleasure, rest & adventure in books. My 3 children (10, 7 & 4) live for Friday night, which is their audible evening.
This is a exelent book but is very short,
It is suitable for kids and is very funny.
Overall I think it is a very good book
I found it quite confusing but I'm not sure if it's just me or I wasn't paying attention or something like that. I couldn't really pick up what was going on it was a bit random as well. It was read well thought ✨✨
