Think my openness is nearing an end

I make it a point to buy these audiobooks cos I believed in the author's style and potential to improve, but I can't keep committing time and money to books that leave me frustrated.

While not an issue at some moments, it's like every guy is made to get a raw deal from the main to the side ones in this series. It gets annoying at times how dismissive the author can be about certain things characters do or act in certain circumstances(if you got this far, you'll get what I mean)

The direction of the two female protagonists' relationship is a thing...that really pulls away from more development with the MC(I'm aware of the different viewpoints being intentional).

If you can get past that, you will enjoy the story. it's simple to follow and keeps your interest.

Will I get the next one? Flip a coin.
