This book has given me the big kick I need to become a key person of influence.
It's given me a renewed sense of purpose.
I've mind mapped sooo many ideas and actions as well as stories from my past that this book has made me think of that makes what I do unique.
If you need a good talking to with a strong theme and a decidedly positive 'you can do It' message, then this is for you. a good, well thought out narrative with clear vocabulary, step by step guidance with examples and all delivered with a clarity of conviction.
This is an excellent audio book. Gives you so many ideas & possibilities. It's given me direction and actions to get moving! Will be listening to it many times yet!
The author offers an easy 5 step plan to fortune and success. Everybody can do it. As a bonus, there is a hidden message in the book which he refers to often. In the epilogue he tells you to keep searching for the hidden message, which, if found, will turn you into a super productive successful key person of influence?
Does that sound too good to be true? That's because it is. He collects a bunch of personal experiences and platitudes, not hindered by any research, and simply claims over and over again that success will follow.
He probably means his own success. When he sends the snake oil to many people. I didn't learn anything from this book. The only good thing is that it was very short. So I didn't waste too much time on this.
My tip, read books from actual leaders or people who've actually done the research. Eg Jim Collins, Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, Eric Schmidt, Jocko Willink. Real insights from real leaders. Nuanced and humble. No simple 5 step plan to success. But the truth.
The narrator's voice is beautiful and makes this book a pleasure to listen to. Daniel's ideas are simple, but profoundly effective, as anyone who follows his method can testify. They are illustrated with engaging stories, explained with clarity, which makes it an enjoyable "read" and helps you to imagine yourself actually doing what he suggests, which is hugely motivating. Thank you Daniel for writing such a valuable book.
What a gorgeous voice - beautifully read, with gravitas and sincerity. Thank you Michael.
Inspirational yet full of practical advice. This booked came to me just when I was struggling to see where I was heading with my business in the future. The author clearly explains his method of 5 steps to becoming a KPI but besides this, the book is packed with thought provoking ideas that aim to break limited beliefs we all share to some extent. For me personally, I just loved the distiction between functional and vital people and the workabee state of mind.
I really liked this book. The ideas and philosophy contained within stood out to me as a very modern way to promote yourself and your business.
life changing perspectives for me. Learning to be a key person of influence in a micro niche is exactly what I dreamed of and now Daniel has given me the confirmation and strategy to pursue this with vitality!
as I have gotten to the end of this,3rd or 4th time, I got a real kick in the ass. ultimately we have to step up and put the consistent effort in to make our dreams happen.
