I love Bugs!
Bugs are the best! They are fascinating and so small that they always intrigued me as a kid. We even used to make spiders fight against one another when I was younger.
This audiobook by Audio Education Academy does a good job of covering the different types of bugs, separating them by their categories or their kinds. In each chapter, the author explains what each one is and describes the thing that makes each insect unique.
My favorite part of the audiobook was the Bold Jumping Spider. I had no idea about these spiders even though they were so common where I grew up. It was hard to catch them because they loved to jump far away. This audiobook has facts about these types of bugs that are thoroughly researched and scientifically backed. Totally recommend if you are a kid-at-heart or if you had children that love to collect bugs!

Bugs, bugs, BUGS!!!
This is the perfect audiobook for children who are interested in bugs so that they can stop asking you all the questions because they can learn the answers from this book! It delves deep into scientific knowledge that will provide a solid foundation for future entomologists, using language and style that is perfect for kids. I would also suggest buying it for children who are afraid of bugs. It might be a struggle to get them to start listening, but if they give it a chance, the information shared here may be the first giant step in helping them realize that we really don't need to be scared of bugs. Knowledge and facts can help overcome that fear as we learn about the fascinating world of insects.
I spent 5 years living in the Amazon jungle (where there are SO MANY BUGS), so was especially excited to see the Amazonian centipede and the tarantula featured in this book. Had no idea that this species of centipedes eats bats! You'll have to listen for yourself to discover the secret to how this seemingly unbelievable fact is possible. And do you know who is the best mother in the insect kingdom? This book will teach you that too, as well as hundreds (maybe thousands...I lost count....)of other interesting and useful facts about bugs.
The author sprinkles bits of humor throughout the book, enough to increase engagement and interest, yet maintaining an informational and educational tone, without resorting to overt silliness, which wouldn't be needed since the information is presented in an easy-to-understand manner that keeps a listener engaged and wanting more. I appreciated the little laughs though, such as being assured that earwigs do not crawl into people's ears, and if one ever did so, it would be a complete accident and it would try to find it's way back out of your ear as quickly as possible.
